Bayou Business Recovery Grants Program

In response to the COVID-19 public health crisis and the ensuing negative impact on local business, the Bayou Business Recovery Grant Program has been launched. This competitive grant provide will provide up to $10,000 of targeted grant funds to assist Terrebonne Parish small businesses in their overall recovery strategy.

Who?

The grants will be awarded to small businesses in Terrebonne Parish who operate primarily in Terrebonne Parish. Applicants must have an Occupational License issued from Terrebonne Parish and be able to demonstrate the business was viable prior to March 13, 2020 and was negatively impacted by COVID-19.

WHAT?

Competitive grants up to $10,000 will be made to assist businesses with critical expenses as part of their recovery strategy. These funds can be used for a variety of expenses, assuming the business can demonstrate how they will impact their recovery in a meaningful way. Funds cannot be used to replace lost profits or pay down existing long-term debts.

WHEN?

Applications are open now and will be considering on a rolling basis. The aim of this program is to get assistance to business as quickly as possible.
